Abstract: DETECTION OF ANOMALIES USING SMART SURVEILLANCE CLOSED CIRCUIT TELEVISION (CCTV) SYSTEMS ABSTRACT The present invention discloses a system (100) and a method (300) for detecting anomalies or violations in business processes of industries using Smart surveillance Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) systems in real-time. The system (100) includes a plurality of CCTV cameras (102) configured to capture and record images and/or videos of surroundings of a location at which they are installed. The system (100) further includes a user device (104) configured to provide an interface to a user (106) for receiving an input from the user (106). The system (100) also includes an anomaly detection system (108) configured to receive images from the CCTV cameras (102) and the input from the user device (104) and to detect anomalies based on the received images data and the input and to generate alerts for the detected anomalies.
