MUMBAI, India, Aug. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641101045 A) filed by Sri Eshwar College Of Engineering on August 20, 2026, for Detection And Prediction System (dps) For Industrial Machines Using Edge Ai..
Inventors include Vomkar B S; and Dr. A. Babu Karuppiah.
The application for the patent was published on August 28, 2026, under issue no. 35/2026.
Abstract: The growth of automation is happening really fast and this means we need systems that can think for themselves and tell us when machines are going to break down before it actually happens. The Detection & Prediction System for Industrial Machines Using Edge AI is a system that can do just that. It uses technology like Embedded IoT and Edge Artificial Intelligence and industrial sensors to keep an eye on machines all the time. This system checks things like how much machines are vibrating; how hot they are how much electricity they are using and what kind of sounds they are making to see if something is wrong. The system uses sensors that are connected to an ESP32 controller to get all this information about the machines. Then it uses algorithms like Edge AI or TinyML to make sense of all this data without needing to send it to big computers, in the cloud. The Detection & Prediction System can tell us if a machine is getting too hot or if it is vibrating much or if the motor is not working right or if the bearings are failing or if there is too much electricity going through it. This helps industries save money on repairs makes machines work better and reduces the time they are not working. It also makes the workplace safer. The system can send messages to people’s phones and computers using WiFi, GSM and LoRa. This way people can get warnings if a machine is going to break down. They can also see how healthy the machines are. The Edge AI makes sure that all this happens fast and does not use too much power. We can use the Detection & Prediction System in all sorts of industries and factories and places where machines are used to make things. It helps us keep an eye on the machines and make sure they are working properly.
