Abstract: This project presents HAZBot, a robotic system designed for disaster management and hazardous environment exploration. Built using an ESP32 microcontroller, the robot is equipped with environmental sensors to detect and monitor dangerous conditions in areas that are unsafe for human responders. To ensure reliable operation during emergencies, HAZBot utilizes GPS for accurate location tracking and LoRa technology for long-range communication, allowing it to transmit data even when standard cellular networks fail. By providing critical, real-time environmental data and location tracking to rescue teams, HAZBot improves situational awareness, aids in search and rescue efforts, and enhances the overall safety of first responders during critical operations
