Abstract: The present invention relates to the design and development of a high-thermal-efficiency cylinder head for a motorcycle internal combustion engine using Aluminium Alloy A204. The cylinder head is designed with optimized geometry and heat-dissipation features to improve the transfer of heat generated during fuel combustion. The proposed design addresses excessive temperature accumulation, non-uniform temperature distribution, thermal stresses, deformation, and the weight-related limitations associated with conventional cylinder heads. Aluminium Alloy A204 provides a lightweight structure with suitable thermal and mechanical properties for motorcycle engine applications. The cylinder head incorporates optimized cooling surfaces and critical regions surrounding the combustion chamber, intake and exhaust valves, and spark plug mounting area. The design can be validated through computer aided design, numerical thermal and thermo-mechanical analyses and experimental testing in different engine operating conditions. The invention offers improved heat dissipation, reduced thermal loading, improved structural stability, and possible improvements in engine thermal efficiency, performance, reliability and overall component weight.
