MUMBAI, India, June 30 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641059057 A) filed by Swetha; and Shanmugapriya P on May 08, 2026, for Design And Implementation Vision-Based Autonomous Vehicle With Remote Control &real -Time Monitoring.

Inventors include Swetha; Sunmathi P; Shanmugapriya P; Ahalya S; and P. S. Ramapraba.

The application for the patent was published on June 26, 2026, under issue no. 26/2026.

Abstract: Our project demonstrates an autonomous vehicle utilizing cameras for guidance and remote operation while providing real-time updates. The system uses a camera to collect images of the area's environment and then applies image processing techniques to identify obstacles in the camera image. From there, the obstacle information is utilized to determine the appropriate navigational route for the vehicle to take without any human assistance (i.e., autonomous). The system has the capability of allowing the user to remotely operate the vehicle through various means. In addition, the system will provide real-time video of the vehicle along with status data so that the user can observe the vehicle live. The ability to automatically navigate, have remote access, and continuously monitor the vehicle affords the system a great deal of flexibility, reliability, and usefulness for a wide variety of systems, including surveillance and security systems.
