Abstract: DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF AUTOMATIC SEED SOWING MACHINE The present invention relates to an automatic seed sowing machine for improving the accuracy, consistency and efficiency of agricultural sowing operations, particularly for small and medium-scale farmers. The machine comprises a chassis, seed hopper, vibration-assisted seed dispensing mechanism, adjustable plough assembly, DC geared motors, motor driver circuits, Arduino Nano microcontroller, real-time clock module, display unit and rechargeable battery. The microcontroller receives user- selected operating parameters and timing information from the real-time clock module, controls movement of the machine, actuates the seed dispensing mechanism at predetermined intervals and provides operational feedback through the display. Seed spacing and sowing depth can be adjusted according to crop type, soil condition and field requirements. The machine reduces dependence on manual labour, improves uniformity of seed placement and supports approximately two to three hours of continuous operation. The invention provides a compact, affordable and user-friendly automated sowing solution suitable for small agricultural plots and scalable applications. [To be published along with Figure 1]
