Abstract: ABSTRACT Title: DESIGN AND FABRICATION OF PORTABLE SCREW CONVEYOR FOR 5 AGRICULTURAL APPLICATIONS The titled invention discloses a screw conveyor system for the agricultural sector, specifically for handling paddy grains efficiently throughout the harvesting and postharvesting processes. It is used in to transport from the platform to the feeder and 10 grain tank, ensuring smooth and damage-free movement of grains. The system comprises an inlet hopper (1), a conveyor housing (2), a helical screw conveyor (3) mounted on a conveyor shaft (4), a drive motor (5), and a discharge outlet (6), all supported on a portable chassis (7) with a handle (8) for mobility. It further includes a variable speed control (9) for regulating conveying speed and an inclination 15 adjustment mechanism (10) for altering the conveyor angle. A self-cleaning mechanism is included to reduce material buildup and minimize maintenance downtime.
