Abstract: The titled invention discloses an autonomous inline pipe inspection and fault detection system for monitoring industrial and municipaJ pipelines. The system comprises a microcontroller (1 }, an ultrasonic sensor (2), a pressure sensor (3), a temperature and 10 humidity sensor (4), an infrared proximity sensor (5}, a relay module (6}, a wireless RF transceiver module (7}, an LCD display (9}, high- torque DC geared motors (10), a battery (11}, and a radial-arm centering chassis. The sensor suite continuously acquires pipeline condition data to detect wall thinning, leaks, pressure abnormalities, and internal blockages during navigation. The microcontroller ( 1) processes the sensor 15 data using an Exponential Moving Average (EMA) filtering algorithm to eliminate noise and improve detection accuracy. Upon identifying a fault through threshold-based analysis, the relay module (6) automatically halts the robot while diagnostic information is displayed on the LCD display (9). Simultaneously, real-time telemetry is transmitted through the wireless RF transceiver module (7) to a remote monitoring interface for 20 analysis and database logging. The invention provides reliable, low- latency, and cloud-independent pipeline inspection for improved infrastructure maintenance and safety.
