Inventors include Dr. G. Sundar; Dr. R. Senthil Kumar; K. H. Bensy; S. Dhivanan; R. Ragul; and J. Sakthivel.
The application for the patent was published on June 12, 2026, under issue no. 24/2026.
Abstract: The Fire Extinguisher Using Low-Frequency Sound Wave system that employs an STM32 microcontroller integrated with a 555 IC signal generator and TDA2030 audio amplifier to produce and direct controlled low-frequency acoustic pressure waves toward a flame, physically displacing the surrounding oxygen and extinguishing the fire without the use of any water or chemical agent. The system drives a 8-inch subwoofer to emit high-intensity sound waves at the combustion zone. The entire unit is powered by a 18V battery with a 5V voltage regulator ensuring stable and continuous performance throughout operation.
