Abstract: The present invention relates to a double quadruped robotic system for automated and precision pesticide spraying in agricultural fields. The system comprises a rigid support frame, a first quadruped locomotion module and a second quadruped locomotion module, each having four articulated legs, thereby providing an eight-legged locomotion platform. A control unit coordinates the movement of the articulated legs using predetermined gait patterns to provide improved stability, load distribution, and mobility over uneven, muddy, sloped, and irregular agricultural terrains. A pesticide spraying unit comprising a storage tank, electrically operated pump, delivery conduits, and one or more spray nozzles is integrated with the robotic platform. Sensors, including motion and stability sensors, provide operating information to the control unit, which coordinates pesticide spraying with the locomotion state of the robot. The spraying system can be activated, regulated, or stopped based on movement, speed, position, terrain, and stability conditions, thereby improving spraying consistency and reducing unnecessary pesticide discharge. The system may further include remote communication, navigation, and emergency spray shut-off functions. The invention reduces human exposure to pesticides and provides an automated, stable, and adaptable robotic solution for agricultural crop protection and precision spraying applications.
