Abstract: “Design and Development of An IOT-Enabled Automatic Tank Cleaning Machine With Rotary Brush Mechanism” The present invention relates to an IoT-enabled automatic tank cleaning machine with a rotary brush mechanism for cleaning the internal surfaces of water storage tanks, chemical containers, and industrial drums. The machine comprises a structural support frame (101), vertical guide frame (102), geared motor (103), motor mounting plate (104), lead screw assembly (105), lead nut block (106), brush carriage assembly (107), rotary shaft (108), rotary brush (109), storage tank (110), water spray nozzle (111), water inlet pipe (112), water pump (113), electronic control unit (114), and power supply (115). The geared motor drives te lead screw assembly to provide controlled vertical movement of the brush carriage while the rotary brush simultaneously rotates to scrub the inner wall of the tank. The water spray system supplies water or cleaning solution during the brushing operation to improve cleaning efficiency and reduce manual effort. The electronic control unit, comprising an IoT-enabled microcontroller, controls the brush movement, brush rotation, water pump operation, and cleaning cycle, and enables remote monitoring and operation through a wireless communication network. The proposed machine provides uniform cleaning, minimizes human exposure to hazardous environments, reduces water consumption, decreases cleaning time, and improves operational safety. The invention is suitable for cleaning domestic water tanks, overhead tanks, industrial storage vessels, food-grade containers, and chemical processing tanks of various sizes.
