MUMBAI, India, Oct. 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611101061 A) filed by Shorabh Kumar; Saurabh; and Aadarsh Shrivas on August 21, 2026, for Design And Development Of An Automated Peristaltic Pumping System With Integrated Thermally- Regulated Liquid Delivery For Yogic Basti Kriya.
Inventors include Shorabh Kumar; Saurabh; and Aadarsh Shrivas.
The application for the patent was published on October 02, 2026, under issue no. 40/2026.
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a system and method for automatic delivery of thermally regulated liquid for use in Yogic Basti Kriya. The system comprises a reservoir, heating assembly, removable fluid-path cassette, motor-driven peristaltic pump, delivery tube, non-return valve, detachable connector, catheter, sensors and processor. The cassette separates the wetted parts from the reusable electromechanical parts, and provides pressure transfer, outlet temperature, air detection, pulse damping and anti free flow features. The processor correlates pressure, flow, motor-current, rotor-position, temperature, air-presence, reservoir-level and cassette- position signals to distinguish normal pump pulsation from obstruction, tube-loading fault, leakage, empty reservoir, air presence or sensor misalignment. Pump and heater operation is controlled to predetermined flow, pressure, temperature and volume limits. Proper cassette installation, successful priming and acceptable outlet temperature must be verified before delivery can be inhibited. A mechanically operated pressure-relief passage provides independent limiting of delivery-line pressure and does not depend on processor or electrical power while providing hygienic isolation, fault-specific control, and layered fail-safe operation during liquid delivery in portable configurations.
