Abstract: The present invention relates to a universal dental articulator adapter designed to enhance the functional performance of conventional hinge-type dental articulators used in restorative and prosthetic dentistry. The adapter is configured to be detachably mounted onto an existing articulator to facilitate improved simulation of mandibular movements during occlusal analysis and prosthetic fabrication. The adapter is preferably fabricated using additive manufacturing, particularly fused deposition modeling (FDM), employing polylactic acid (PLA) to provide a lightweight, durable, and cost-effective structure. The modular design enables easy installation, removal, and compatibility with different conventional articulator configurations without requiring permanent modification of the original equipment. Structural evaluation demonstrates satisfactory mechanical stability, low deformation, and reliable performance under operational loading conditions. The invention improves occlusal accuracy, minimizes chairside adjustments, reduces treatment cost, and provides an economical alternative to expensive semi-adjustable articulators, thereby enhancing efficiency in dental clinics, laboratories, and educational institutions.
