Inventors include G Buela Priyanka; Dr. M. Suchitra; Prathyusha Vuddanda; Pasumarthy Sree Mahalakshmi; Guttikonda Udaya; Pala Sasikala; and V. Shobha.
The application for the patent was published on June 19, 2026, under issue no. 25/2026.
Abstract: Some novel compounds 2-((4-chlorophenyl)amino)thiazolo[4,5-d]pyrimidin-5(6H)-one derivatives are constructed on a hybrid structure combining the thiazole and pyrimidinone moieties which are designed and synthesized from aniline derivatives and were tested against the MG 63 bone cancer cell lines by the MTT assay method of which the compounds 5f showed remarkable IC50 values of 2.74uM when compared to the standard 6.09 uM. Other compounds also exhibited efficient anticancer activity of compounds of 5f, 5a, 5h, and 5g when compared with other compounds. Another observation is that the substitution of electron donating groups like NO2 and –OCH3 on phenyl ring showed moderate activities.
