Abstract: A telescopic imaging module for blast-performance monitoring is disclosed, incorporating multi-axis gimbal stabilization, high-zoom optics, and multi-spectral sensing. The imaging module is mounted on a vibration-isolated gimbal that provides real-time angular correction and auto-tracking of the blast site during strong ground tremors. Integrated optical zoom, autofocus mechanisms, and high- frame-rate capture enable clear recording of rapid blast phenomena including detonation flashes, stemming ejection, dust evolution, and rock fragmentation. In certain embodiments, the system includes multi-spectral or infrared sensors for observing thermal signatures, obscured ignition events, and dust-cloud dynamics. An inertial measurement unit (IMU) with active electronic vibration suppression continuously compensates for motion induced by blast shocks, maintaining image sharpness and photogrammetric accuracy. The module forms part of a deployable pillar-based monitoring system, providing high-fidelity visual data synchronized with geo-sensor measurements for real-time blast assessment and safety evaluation.
