Abstract: ABSTRACT DENTIFRICE DISPENSING APPARATUS WITH INCREMENTAL PISTON DISPENSING MECHANISM The present invention relates to a dentifrice dispensing apparatus (100) and a method (200) for dispensing dentifrice. The apparatus (100) comprises a body (102) defining an internal reservoir (104), a dispensing outlet (106) adjacent to an oral cleaning portion (108), a dispensing passage (110), an actuation assembly (112), a displacement assembly (114) including a movable piston (116), and a return assembly (118). Manual actuation incrementally advances the movable piston (116) to positively dispense a metered quantity of dentifrice while preventing reverse movement. The body (102) is refillable through a refill connector and supports replacement of the oral cleaning portion (108). The method (200) comprises retaining (202) dentifrice, receiving (204) manual actuation, incrementally advancing (206) the movable piston, dispensing (208) dentifrice, returning (210) the actuation assembly, and maintaining (212) the movable piston in the advanced position to provide consistent, repeatable metered dispensing.
