MUMBAI, India, Sept. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611100539 A) filed by Nims University Rajasthan, Jaipur on August 18, 2026, for Densenet System And Method For Precision Oncology.

Inventors include Sarthak Rawal; Atith Chandran; and Sayyad Rehanuddin Azhar.

The application for the patent was published on September 25, 2026, under issue no. 39/2026.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a system and method for self-adaptive deep learning in precision oncology. The system comprises a data acquisition interface (101) for receiving multimodal clinical data, and a preprocessing module (102) for standardizing and encoding the data. A Self-Adaptive Deep DenseNet backbone (103) is provided with a dynamic depth configuration mechanism (104) and a depth-aware growth rate modulation unit (105) to optimize feature extraction. A layer-wise depth attention mechanism (106) assigns importance weights, while adaptive transition compression layers (107) regulate feature dimensionality. A multimodal fusion unit (108) integrates heterogeneous data into a unified representation, which is processed by an adaptive decision module (109) to generate analytical outputs. An output interface (110) presents results for clinical use. The method includes steps for adaptive processing to ensure improved accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
