MUMBAI, India, Aug. 10 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641091132 A) filed by Infineal Private Limited on July 27, 2026, for Delayed Interference Cancellation Method For Ground Station Satellite Communication Using Real-Time Link Budget Analysis.

Inventors include Govindassamy, Sivakumar; R, Saeed Jawad; and S, Anandha Vadivel.

The application for the patent was published on July 31, 2026, under issue no. 31/2026.

Abstract: A method and ground station system (100) for delayed interference cancellation in satellite communication are disclosed. The ground station system (100) includes a receiver (102) configured to receive samples from satellites, a buffer (104) configured to store received samples when a decoding failure is observed, a link budget computation unit (106) configured to compute a real-time link budget to determine a link margin, a sync word analyzer (110) configured to analyze multiple sync word offsets and categorize sync words based on correlated powers to identify signals from corresponding satellites, a payload identification module (114) to identify if the decoded payload is from intended satellite, a signal regenerator module (116) to regenerate the signal from decoded payload of interferer satellite, , an interference cancellation module (112) configured to cancel interfering satellite signals from stored samples with help of regenerated signal, and a processor (108) configured to attempt decoding at each sync word offset to recover an intended satellite payload without requiring retransmission.
