MUMBAI, India, Aug. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611071202 A) filed by Chitkara University on June 08, 2026, for Dehumidifying System For A Wall Structure And Method Thereof.
Inventors include Dr. Darpan Anand; and Dr. Ashish Kumar.
The application for the patent was published on August 07, 2026, under issue no. 32/2026.
Abstract: A dehumidifying system for a wall structure and method thereof, comprising a network of air-conducting conduits 102 embedded within the wall structure 101, a heat exchange unit 103 to generate and supply heated air, an air circulation unit 104 to force heated air through the conduits 102, at least one ventilation outlet 105 to allow moisture vapor evaporated from the wall structure 101 to exit the wall, and a regulation unit 106 operatively coupled to the heat exchange unit 103 and the air circulation unit 104 to detect moisture levels in the wall and system conditions and selectively initiate heating and airflow cycles when a predetermined moisture threshold is exceeded, the system operates by elevating the temperature of the wall structure above a dew point using circulated heated air, thereby causing moisture within the wall to evaporate into vapor and enabling removal of the vapor through diffusion and ventilation pathways.
