Abstract: The present invention relates to a degradable polymer composition comprising: (a) a polyolefin; (b) one or more transition metal compounds in a total amount of from 0.03 to 0.6wt%, based on the total weight of the polymer composition, (c) one or more non-coordinated, saturated C14-C24 carboxylic acid or an ester, anhydride or amide thereof, in an amount of from 0.01 to 0.6wt%, based on the total weight of the polymer composition; (d) a rubber in an amount of from 0.02 to 0.65wt%, based on the total weight of the composition; (e) an antioxidant stabilizer composition in an amount of from 0.005 to 0.48 wt%, based on the total weight of the composition; wherein the one or more transition metal compounds comprises iron, manganese, copper, cobalt or cerium, and wherein the antioxidant stabiliser composition comprises a phenolic antioxidant, a non-phenolic antioxidant and a mineral acid scavenger.
