Abstract: Nail abnormalities may be important visual clues of localized nail disorders and underlying systemic health problems. Early detection of these abnormalities has a great impact on promoting early medical consultation and improving preventive healthcare . However, traditional nail examination depends on clinical expertise and may not be always readily available for large-scale or remote screening. This paper proposes a **Deep Learning Framework for Automated Multi-Disease Nail Detection**, using computer vision and deep learning techniques to analyze nail images for automated disease identification. The proposed framework uses image preprocessing, nail region extraction, and a transfer learning-based convolutional neural network to classify multiple nail conditions such as Onychomycosis, Nail Psoriasis, Leukonychia, Melanonychia, Koilonychia, Clubbing, and healthy nails.The framework also detects the health risks other than the disease classification.
