Abstract: ABSTRACT [0025] Empathetic Response Generation System is an empathetic, friendly chatbot for children which will be able to offer friendship, emotional support, and advice. It will chat with children via text and voice inputs, interacting with them empathetically using Natural Language Processing (NLP), Machine Learning, and Speech Recognition. To make it easy to interact and have fun conversations, it will have a new, kid-friendly interface that will feature enjoyable aspects such as badges, points, rewards, and user-choosable themes. Because they tend to overlook significant emotional cues while conversing, current chatbot systems are unable to offer children personalized and extremely empathetic experiences. By facilitating mental well-being, offering a multi-lingual interface for global accessibility, and offering instant emotional support, the chatbot seeks to overcome such a shortcoming. The system will provide consistent, accurate, and empathetic output with a maintained fun and entertainment experience through implementation of Deep Learning techniques to natural language processing and training.
