The application for the patent was published on September 11, 2026, under issue no. 37/2026.
Abstract: The present invention provides a system for automatically generating Indian-specific Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) by leveraging deep learning techniques to detect, analyze, and visualize cyber incidents affecting Indian cyberspace. Open-source content is continuously gathered from CERT advisories, security blogs, discussion forums, paste sites, and social media using web-crawling modules built on Scrapy and BeautifulSoup, with raw reports temporarily held in MongoDB. A fine-tuned BERT based text classification model examines each incoming report to determine its relevance to India, forwarding only qualifying reports for downstream processing. Qualifying reports pass through preprocessing involving language identification, regex-based cleanup, and spaCy-driven normalization. A separate fine-tuned BERT model, configured for named entity recognition, identifies key cybersecurity entities threat actors, malware, CVEs, tools, organizations, locations, and indicators of compromise. These entities are correlated with known APT groups and mapped to MITRE ATT&CK tactics using a custom JSON-based schema, yielding structured, actionable threat intelligence.
