Abstract: In present invention a decision-support system (100) for soil fertility assessment and organic crop management is disclosed, integrating Internet of Things (IoT), Machine Learning (ML), and Deep Learning (DL) technologies. The system comprises an IoT-based data acquisition module (104) with an Arduino Nano microcontroller (114) interfaced with NPK, pH, EC, and soil moisture sensors (116–122) for real-time monitoring; a soil characterization module (102) employing non- destructive spectroscopic techniques (XRD, FTIR, Raman, SEM-EDS, UV-Vis); a machine learning-based soil classification and crop recommendation module (108) achieving over 99% accuracy; and a deep learning-based nutrient deficiency detection module (110) using an Attention-Based Convolutional Neural Network (152) with ~99.48% accuracy in identifying nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, zinc, and multi-nutrient deficiencies from leaf images. A web application module (112), including a maize leaf recognition app (154) and AgriSense dashboard (156), delivers holistic recommendations, reducing delays, costs, and fragmentation of conventional soil testing, thereby empowering farmers.
