MUMBAI, India, July 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611057491 A) filed by Ms. Kamya Kushwaha; Mr. Karanjot Singh; Ms. Nidhi Manral; and Ms. Sonika Nagar on May 06, 2026, for Decentralized Crowdfunding System With Blockchain-Based Trust, Smart Contract Automation, And Layer-2 Scaling.

Inventors include Ms. Kamya Kushwaha; Mr. Karanjot Singh; Ms. Nidhi Manral; and Ms. Sonika Nagar.

The application for the patent was published on July 17, 2026, under issue no. 29/2026.

Abstract: This is an intelligent and scalable example of decentralized crowdfunding utilising blockchain technology in programmable Solidity- based smart contracts deployed on the Ethereum network. The system supports the development of campaigns, the administration of donations, and provides the execution of conditional funds, without relying on central intermediaries, and in a code-enforced execution environment of trustlessness. The new architecture would be an on-chain financial logic and off-chain user experience layer hybrid Web3 full-stack implementation. A React / Next.js frontend user interface, a node.js / express.js background server, a mongoDB off chain database server and Solidity smart contracts constitute the main components of its system. It has Web3.js and MetaMask as the providers of connection, and provides peer-to-peer connection to the Ethereum network. The system is a combination of Layer-2 scaling solutions which include, Zero-Knowledge Rollups (ZK-Rollups) that can process transactions with high-throughput and at a low cost. Interplanetary Files Storage (IPFS)-based content-addressable storage solutions with incentivized persistence layers such as Filecoin or Arweave are includedin order to ensure data integrity and the ability to thwart censorship. The systemalsofacilitates the privacy preserving technology like the zero-knowledge proofs (ZKP) as a method to enable regulatory compliance and protection of user data. The proposedframework will enable development of the next generation crowdfunding systems, whichare transparent, efficient and accessible across the globe.
