Abstract: The present subject matter discloses a DC (Direct Current) fast charging station (100) for charging one or more batteries of a vehicle (122 or 124). The charging station (100) comprises a plurality of chargers (102, 104), a plurality of charging guns (106, 108), and a plurality of charging gun slots (402, 404). When a user needs to charge the vehicle (122 or 124), the user may insert a charging gun (106 or 108) from the plurality of charging guns (106, 108) into a vehicle inlet of the vehicle (122 or 124), and then the user initiates a charging session. Once the charging session is initiated, a charger (102 or 104) associated with the inserted charging gun (106 or 108) gets turned ON and thereafter charging of the vehicle (122 or 124) starts. When the charging is completed or charging session is interrupted by the user, then the charging session is terminated.
