Abstract: CYBER ATTACK DETECTION AND MITIGATION FRAMEWORK FOR RESILIENT DIRECT CURRENT (DC) MICROGRID SYSTEM Provided is a method (300) and system (100) for detecting and mitigating cyberattacks in a Direct Current (DC) microgrid (102). The method comprises acquiring (302) measurement signals via a plurality of sensors (103), generating (304) a feature vector and arranging the feature vector into normalized time-series sequences, and processing (306) the normalized time-series sequences through a neural network for learning temporal behaviour. Further, the method comprises computing (308) an anomaly score based on a reconstruction error and determining (310) a presence of a cyberattack when the anomaly score exceeds a detection threshold. Upon detection, the method comprises estimating (312) healthy system states using a Kalman filter, localizing (314) a compromised distributed generation (DG) unit or sensor based on residual correlation, and executing (316) resilient mitigation by replacing a corrupted measurement with a reconstructed measurement and controlling the DC microgrid (102).
