Abstract: This cutting device cuts a workpiece sandwiched in a first direction, wherein: a first tool 110 and a second tool 120 are arranged facing one other in the first direction; a blade portion 110a of the first tool and a blade portion 120a of the second tool each have a pressing surface S1 perpendicular to the first direction and a first vertical wall surface S2 perpendicular to the pressing surface S1; at least one of the blade portion 110a of the first tool and the blade portion 120a of the second tool has a tool inclined surface S3 between the pressing surface S1 and the first vertical wall surface S2, the angle formed by the pressing surface S1 and the tool inclined surface S3 being an obtuse angle; and a clearance C [mm] between the first tool 110 and the second tool 120 and a distance d [mm] between the pressing surfaces S1 satisfy formula (A).
