Abstract: CurZest: A Curcumin-Zinc Based Topical Cream for Enhanced Wound Healing and Tissue Regeneration. ABSTRACT OF INVENTION The present invention relates to a bioactive topical pharmaceutical composition comprising curcumin and zinc in a synergistic formulation, marketed as CurZest Cream, intended for enhanced wound healing, skin regeneration, and anti-inflammatory therapy. The invention combines the potent antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and antimicrobial properties of curcumin with the epithelialization-promoting and collagen-stimulating effects of zinc to accelerate dermal repair and improve tissue remodeling. The composition comprises a therapeutically effective concentration of curcumin, zinc or zinc derivatives, pharmaceutically acceptable excipients, stabilizing agents, and a dermatologically compatible cream base suitable for topical administration. The formulation enhances bioavailability of curcumin while minimizing oxidative degradation and improving sustained release at the wound site. CurZest™ Cream promotes fibroblast proliferation, collagen synthesis, reduced oxidative stress, modulation of inflammatory cytokines, and improved re-epithelialization. The invention is suitable for the management of acute and chronic wounds, surgical incisions, bums, diabetic ulcers, inflammatory dermatoses, and other skin conditions requiring enhanced tissue repair. The formulation demonstrates improved stability, enhanced therapeutic efficacy, and reduced adverse effects compared to conventional curcumin or zinc-based topical preparations when used independently.
