Abstract: A curtain rod holding device, comprising a rectangular frame 101 having a plurality of suction units for mounting onto a wall surface, a cylindrical member 102 installed within the frame 101 to enable an adjustment of position of the member 102 within the frame 101, an iris lid 103 disposed within the member 102 to grip an end of a curtain rod inserted into the iris lid 103, plurality of motorized pop-out balls 104 disposed along to translate the curtain rod, an imaging unit 105 installed on the frame 101 to determine curtain rod’s dimensions, a telescopic gripper 106 mounted on the frame 101 to grip and pull curtain hung from the curtain rod, a speaker 107 located on the frame 101 to generate an audio warning regarding an overload condition and a microphone 108 provided on the frame 101 for receiving an audio command from the user.
