Abstract: A curtain rod holding assistive device, comprises of a rectangular plate 101 developed to be installed on a vertical support in proximity to a window pane, multiple suction cups 102 arranged at the plate 101 to adhere to the vertical support’s surface for securing the plate 101, an imaging unit 103 detect positioning of a curtain rod in proximity to plate 101 , a pair of C-shaped clamps 104 attached to the plate 101 for holding a curtain rod, an ultrasonic sensor embedded in the plate 101 for determining dimensions of curtain rod, a drawer arrangement for size adjustment in view of properly enclosing the curtain rod, a laser sensor embedded in plate 101 for detecting position of a hook above the windowpane, a motorized slider 106 integrated between bar 105 and plate 101 providing translation to bar 105 to move gripped rod towards hook.
