Abstract: Provided is a curable composition comprising a first bismuth compound having bismuth and at least one of an acryloyl group and a methacryloyl group, and a first radical polymerizable monomer which has a polyethylene glycol chain and in which the ratio N2/N1 of the number average molecular weight N2 of the polyethylene glycol chain to the number average molecular weight N1 is 75-95%, wherein the percentage of the polyethylene glycol chain is 13.5 mass% or more in the composition. Also provided are: a cured body of the curable composition; and an optical article, a lens, a rubber sheet, an eye protector, and an antibacterial/antiviral agent each containing the cured body.
