Abstract: ABSTRACT CT PERFUSION ANALYSIS SYSTEM A computed tomography (CT) perfusion analysis system (10) is designed to enhance the efficiency of stroke diagnosis and treatment planning. The system includes a 4D CT perfusion DICOM series input module (12) that detects dynamic series with at least twenty-five time points. It features a motion artefact detector (14) using a convolutional neural network to quickly generate a motion quality score. The CTP map generator (16) employs a three-dimensional U-Net for learned deconvolution, producing various perfusion maps such as cerebral blood flow and volume maps. Additionally, a penumbra-core segmentation module (18) identifies and quantifies ischemic core and penumbra volumes. An eligibility scoring engine compares these volumes against clinical trial criteria to determine treatment eligibility. The system displays results on a scanner console dashboard (22) and transmits data to relevant systems for real-time alerts, completing processing within ninety seconds of acquiring the last frame of the dynamic series.
