MUMBAI, India, Sept. 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202647107020 A) filed by Shanghai Zhimeng Biopharma, Inc. on September 05, 2026, for Crystal Form Of Tetrahydroisoquinoline Compound And Use Thereof.

Inventors include Liu, Gang; Liang, Bo Number; and Chen, Huanming.

The application for the patent was published on September 18, 2026, under issue no. 38/2026.

Abstract: Disclosed in the present invention are a crystal form of a tetrahydroisoquinoline compound and a use thereof. The present invention provides methanesulfonate crystal form A, p-toluenesulfonate crystal form A, p-toluenesulfonate crystal form B, and p-toluenesulfonate crystal form E of a compound represented by formula (I). The crystal form of the present invention has the advantages such as high purity, strong stability, high solubility, reproducible preparation, and excellent performance. The crystal form of the present invention exhibits significantly higher solubility in water, fasted-state simulated intestinal fluid, and simulated gastric fluid compared to a free base. In the pharmacokinetic study in rats, the systemic exposure dosage of the crystal form of the present invention is significantly superior to that of the free base, and the overall pharmacokinetic property is unexpectedly improved.
