MUMBAI, India, Nov. 2 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202621112041 A) filed by Parul University Parul Institute Of Technology on September 18, 2026, for Cryptographic Zero-Trust Access Verification Protocol For Decentralized Multi-Cloud Network Topologies.

Inventor includes Madhav Kumar Jagdish Bhai Kapadia.

The application for the patent was published on October 30, 2026, under issue no. 44/2026.

Abstract: ABSTRACT A cryptographic zero-trust access verification system for decentralized multi-cloud network topologies addresses the problem of centralized trusted authorities creating single points of failure. The system comprises a decentralized cryptographic attestation engine performing mutual TLS authentication with certificate pinning to hardware-rooted trust anchors, eliminating reliance on centralized certificate authorities. A distributed policy consensus mechanism implements threshold cryptography requiring signatures from at least a threshold number of cloud nodes, eliminating single central policy authorities. A cross-cloud identity federation layer uses SPIFFE/SVID-compatible X.509 certificates to bind workload identities cryptographically. A continuous re-verification engine re-attests active sessions at configurable intervals with automatic termination upon failure. A zero-knowledge proof module verifies credentials without exposing credential data. The system eliminates single points of trust failure, enables cryptographically verifiable decentralized access control across heterogeneous cloud providers, and prevents lateral movement and replay attacks.
