Abstract: ABSTRACT CRYPTOGRAPHIC COMMITMENT SYSTEM FOR AUTONOMOUS AGENT-TO-AGENT NEGOTIATIONS A computer-implemented method for cryptographic commitment in autonomous agent-to-agent negotiations comprises receiving, at a first autonomous agent (100), a negotiation proposal from a second autonomous agent (200) during an agent-to-agent handshake phase, generating a commitment hash (110) from predetermined negotiation parameters included in the negotiation proposal, digitally signing the commitment hash (110) using a cryptographic key associated with the first autonomous agent (100), receiving a digital signature of the commitment hash (110) from the second autonomous agent (200), generating a commitment token (120) comprising the commitment hash (110) and the digital signatures from both the first autonomous agent (100) and the second autonomous agent (200), and anchoring the commitment token (120) to a distributed state- tracker (300) to establish a state-lock that inhibits unilateral modification of the negotiation parameters.
