Abstract: ABSTRACT The present invention discloses the CryoBowl, a pre-cooled gel-integrated rubber mixing bowl engineered to extend the working time of alginate impression material in clinical dental practice. The device comprises a flexible rubber mixing bowl of standard clinical dimensions, an embedded thin-layer phase- change cooling gel incorporated uniformly within the bowl walls, and a thermally insulating grip lining at the base of the bowl to prevent clinician discomfort during manipulation. The bowl is pre-conditioned by refrigeration prior to use. Upon retrieval, the embedded gel maintains a low internal bowl temperature sufficient to retard the exothermic setting reaction of alginate, thereby extending the working time without altering the conventional mixing technique or material consistency. The outer surface and grip zone remain comfortable to hold, and the overall flexibility and handling characteristics are identical to those of a standard rubber mixing bowl. The invention significantly improves clinical efficiency and impression quality, particularly in warm-climate settings, long-duration impression procedures, and resource- limited environments such as dental camps
