Abstract: A method of correcting misalignment of nozzles of a multi-colour inkjet printer (12) for printing an image on a printing medium that is movable with respect to the inkjet printer (12) in a conveying direction (C) is disclosed. The inkjet printer (12) has a plurality of printheads (40) having nozzles (42) for each printing colour. The plurality of printheads (40) is mounted in a matrix configuration, The method comprises the steps of determining relative droplets positions ejected by each nozzle, determining relative nozzle deviations from the relative droplets positions and assigning correction factors to each of the nozzles of the printheads.
