Abstract: A corn kernels separating assistive device comprising a cylindrical hollow housing 101 having two openings for inserting a corn cob, an imaging unit installed over housing to determine length and diameter of corn cob, a robotic gripper 103 installed over housing to grip one end of inserted corn cob, a motorized circular sliding unit 104 installed over inner periphery of housing to provide translation to plurality of extendable blades 105 configured with sliding unit, a hydraulic link 106 installed between each of blade and sliding unit to extend as per diameter to position blades in contact with corn cob, a speaker 107 installed over housing to notify user regarding moisture level and rotten corn cob, a microphone 108 mapped over housing to receive voice command from user regarding hands free operation.
