MUMBAI, India, Aug. 17 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511007939 A) filed by Sanskriti University on January 30, 2025, for Corded Stemware Holding Assistive Device.

Inventors include Satya Prakash Yadav; and Dr. Ashok Kumar.

Abstract: A corded stemware holding assistive device, comprising a circular frame 101 developed to be positioned in proximity to a stemware, a motorized iris lid 102 integrated on base of the frame 101 to get opened/closed to accommodate the stemware, a circular plate 103 integrated inside the frame 101 for providing a stable base to the stemware, a microphone 104 integrated in the frame 101 for enabling uses input voice commands, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 105 integrated in the frame 101 to determine dimensions of the user’s neck, a strap 106 configured with multiple vertical plates installed with the frame 101 for enabling the user to wear the strap 106 around the user’s neck, flap 107 installed on the strap 106 to shield the stemware from outer damage and a suction cup 108 arranged on the strap 106 to ensure stability of the when stemware.
