Abstract: The invention relates to a cooling system for dissipating process heat into the surrounding air and for extracting carbon dioxide from the surrounding air, wherein the cooling system has at least one air supply line (3) for supplying the surrounding air into a housing (1) and at least one air outlet (8) for dispensing filtered surrounding air out of the housing (1). The housing (1) is equipped with a liquor distributing unit (10) for distributing a carbon dioxide-binding liquor (9) in the housing (1), said distributing unit being integrated into a liquor circuit, and a heat exchanger (5) is positioned upstream of the liquor distributing unit (10) in the flow direction of the liquor (9) in the liquor circuit, said heat exchanger thermally coupling the liquor circuit to an exhaust heat circuit (20) of a production system.
