MUMBAI, India, Sept. 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641103854 A) filed by Kalasalingam Academy Of Research And Education on August 28, 2026, for Cooling Gel Pad Sandwiched Show Case For Prawn Display.

Abstract: A cooling_gel pad_sandwiched showcase for prawn_display comprises a base frame (1) mounted on lockable wheels (2) supporting an insulated cooling chamber (3). A transparent inclined glass panel (4) encloses the top display area of the cooling chamber (3). A slotted bottom tray insert (5) and a modular gel pad array insert tray 10 (6) are positioned inside the cooling chamber (3) in a sandwiched relationship beneath a perforated prawn display bed. A plurality of circulating fans (7) are positioned beneath the bottom tray insert (5) to drive convective air currents across the gel pad array insert tray (6). An external control unit (8) regulates the circulating fans (7) to maintain uniform preservation temperatures without requiring direct ice contact
