Abstract: A cooking assistive device, comprises of a C-shaped extendable body 1 developed to be secured with edges of a cooking utensil in which a food item is to be cooked, a computing unit installed with a user-interface is wirelessly associated with the device for enabling a user to give input commands for securing the body 1 with the utensil along with selecting type of food item, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit mounted on the body 1 for detecting dimensions of the utensil, a pair of motorized clamps 3 for gripping the edges of the utensil, a pair of flaps 6 installed with the body 1 via a pair of L-shaped telescopically operated rods 7 to cover sides of the utensil via the flaps 6 during stirring of the food item, and a speaker 7 for notifying the user.
