Abstract: ABSTRACT CONVERSATIONAL ROBOTIC HANDWRITING SYSTEM FOR AUTONOMOUS DOCUMENT CREATION BY VISUALLY IMPAIRED USERS A conversational robotic handwriting system (100) enables a visually impaired user to create handwritten content on a physical document (200). A document support (110) holds the document (200) at a reference position. An overhead camera (120) captures the document (200) and determines a spatial representation comprising writable regions (204) and positional relationships to a workspace coordinate frame. A voice interaction unit (130) receives spoken input and provides audible output. A robotic writing mechanism (160) carrying a writing instrument (162) writes content on the document (200). A document-state processing unit (140) persists, after each writing operation, a document-state representation mapping each logical content portion to physical coordinates. A force sensor (170) and a close-range imaging unit (122) detect deviation between intended and executed writing. A control unit (190) resolves a spoken command identifying previously written content to a physical location and causes a writing or correction operation at that location. (Fig. 1)
