Abstract: Abstract Disclosed is a controlled oil dispensing apparatus for directing medicated oil toward a forehead region of a user. The apparatus comprises a support frame having an oil reservoir and a collection tray positioned below the forehead region. A positive-displacement oil transfer assembly has an inlet fluidically coupled to the oil reservoir and an outlet. A reciprocating discharge head is fluidically coupled to the outlet and comprises a guide-mounted carriage, a flow-settling chamber carried by the guide-mounted carriage, and an outlet portion positioned downstream of the flow-settling chamber. A filtered return circuit fluidically couples the collection tray to the oil reservoir. The oil reservoir, positive-displacement oil transfer assembly, flow-settling chamber, outlet portion, collection tray, and filtered return circuit define a closed fluidic oil path for controlled delivery and recovery of medicated oil.
