MUMBAI, India, June 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202617066329 A) filed by Robert Bosch Gmbh on May 26, 2026, for Control Device For Semiconductor Switches Of An Inverter Output Stage.

Inventors include Graf, Marco; Richter, Tobias; Lechner, Benjamin; and Rosahl, Thoralf.

The application for the patent was published on June 19, 2026, under issue no. 25/2026.

Abstract: The invention relates to a control device (1) for semiconductor switches (4a,5a,4b,5b,4c,5c) of an inverter output stage (2), comprising a processor (12) and a respective driver circuit (6a,7a,6b,7b,6c,7c) provided for each semiconductor switch (4a,5a,4b,5b,4c,5c) of the inverter output stage (2), wherein the processor (12) is designed to transmit parameters of a phase current during a switching process of one of the semiconductor switches (4a,5a,4b,5b,4c,5c) of the inverter output stage (2) to the corresponding driver circuit (6a,7a,6b,7b,6c,7c) of the semiconductor switch (4a,5a,4b,5b,4c,5c) via a communication interface (14,15), and the driver circuit (6a,7a,6b,7b,6c,7c) of the semiconductor switch (4a,5a,4b,5b,4c,5c) has a computing unit (23) which is designed to compute the present sinusoidal curve of the phase current for the switching process of the semiconductor switch (4a,5a,4b,5b,4c,5c) on the basis of the parameters transmitted by the processor (12). The driver circuit (6a,7a,6b,7b,6c,7c) of the semiconductor switch (4a,5a,4b,5b,4c,5c) has a current profile storage device (25) that is designed to select a current profile, which is stored in the storage device, on the basis of the sinusoidal phase current curve computed by the computing unit (23) of the driver circuit (6a,7a,6b,7b,6c,7c) and/or on the basis of a voltage and/or on the basis of a temperature and provide same to the driver circuit (6a,7a,6b,7b,6c,7c) of the semiconductor switch (4a,5a,4b,5b,4c,5c) in order to carry out the switching process in the semiconductor switch (4a,5a,4b,5b,4c,5c).
