Abstract: It is to provide a control device for an internal combustion engine capable of 5 preventing an abnormal combustion from occurring repeatedly. [Solution] There is provided an ECU 3 to control an engine 2 including: cylinders 11; intake valves 15 to open/close respective intake ports 13 to deliver an air into combustion chambers 12 of the cylinders; exhaust valves 16 to open/close respective exhaust ports 10 14 to discharge an exhaust air from the combustion chambers 12 of the cylinders; and injectors 19 to inject a fuel into the respective combustion chambers. The ECU is configured to, when an abnormal combustion occurs at the cylinder(s), stop the fuel injection to the cylinder(s) over the next combustion cycle. [Selected Figure]
