Abstract: Provided is a control device for electric power steering, the control device controlling output torque of a motor that outputs assist torque on the basis of a steering torque signal from a torque sensor that detects steering torque applied to a steering wheel by a user. The control device controls the output torque using, as a current command corresponding to a command value of the output torque, a signal obtained by adding a correction signal obtained by passing a steering torque signal through a second compensator to an assist torque signal that is approximately proportional to a compensated steering torque signal obtained by passing the steering torque signal through a first compensator. In each of the first compensator and the second compensator, at least two stages of primary or secondary low-order filters are connected in series.
