MUMBAI, India, Sept. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641113896 A) filed by Cvr College Of Engineering on September 23, 2026, for Context-Aware Women'S Safety Device With Threat Analysis.

Inventor includes Dr. B. Prasanthi.

The application for the patent was published on September 25, 2026, under issue no. 39/2026.

Abstract: This is a context-aware women’s safety system that carries out threat analysis in real time. The invention is made up of various sensors (motion sensors, audio sensors, physiological sensors, environmental sensors, and location sensors), a processing unit, a communications unit, and power management unit. The processor combines different modes of sensor data to detect an anomaly by evaluating the behavior of the user, the surrounding environment, and contextual data. A threat analysis algorithm employs rule-based and/or machine learning to assess the level of danger and differentiate between an emergency and normal activities in order to lower false alarms. When a danger signal is generated, the system will respond by initiating various safety measures such as sending an emergency alert, real time location and threat data to predefined contacts and emergency response teams, producing an audible warning, and safely capturing video/voice data.
