The application for the patent was published on August 21, 2026, under issue no. 34/2026.
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a context-aware retrieval-control system (100) and a method (300) for cohort analysis from healthcare data, where a conventional approach miscounts a negated mention and carries no context across a query. The system (100) parses a query into a representation of an entity and a condition at a query processor (106), forms and reforms a retrieval plan from the representation and a signal at a control unit (110), obtains a record set from a plurality of sources (104) at a retrieval unit (112), sorts an occurrence into an affirmed (210), a negated (212), or an uncertain state (214) at a classifier (114), and forms a cohort at a cohort generator (116). Unlike the conventional approach, the system (100) reconciles a heterogeneous source for an accurate clinical cohort identification.
